Learning Sessions Overview

The purpose of the learning session is to discuss and apply the quality improvement concepts learned in homework assignments.  Participants will share and learn from others in their improvement collaborative.


Attendees

  • Required: Team Leader, Team Member, Physician Leader, and QI Coach
  • Invited, but not required: Project Sponsor and process owners


What to Expect

  • Learning session are held via Zoom
  • Learning sessions are 90 minutes long 
  • Learning sessions are moderated by the Collaborative Committee members and QI experts
  • You may get called on at any point, so stay engaged
  • Breakout rooms are utilized for small group discussion and project application  
  • Standard agenda

Zoom Etiquette

  1. Turn on your video
  2. Mute yourself when you are not speaking
  3. Feel free to use the chat
  4. If you have a question, just speak up or place it in the chat
  5. Rename your name in the participant list.  Put your team letter before your name.
    1. Your project team will be assigned a letter during learning session 1 and will be available at the beginning of each session.
    2. To edit your name, open the Participant pane, hover over the microphone icon, click on 'More', select 'Rename', type in (Letter) Your Name, and click 'Ok'
